A Bit About Me
Hi! I'm Mia and I'm 17 years old. I've always had a strong passion for performance since I was little; I love to sing and act and I'm currently studying performing arts at college. I love doing voiceovers because they're a great opportunity to express my love for acting.
I have a professional at-home studio so I can achieve a short delivery to meet your deadlines. From my experience in theatre, I have a wide range of voice skills from strong characterisation to a serious tone.
I have experience in voicing radio commercials, along with live radio presenting and performing on stage.
Work Experience
October 2021- Present
June 2012- December 2019
Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts, IW College
So far, during this course, I have learnt more about how to improve my acting skills. In December 2021, we put on a showcase where we did some musical numbers and specific scenes from the musical 'Everybody is Talking About Jamie'. This helped with my characterisation and developed my understanding of the variety of characters. During May and June 2022, I was involved in a performance of Dr Faustus by Marlowe, where I was Dr Faustus. This experience developed my use of old English extending my ability in reading scripts.
During primary school and for the majority of my time in high school, I volunteered at my local theatre, where I was chosen for many main roles, for example, Annie in Annie and Princess Jasmine in Aladdin. Here I learned how to captivate an audience through my voice and how to have a large stage presence. Overall this helped me to achieve experience in acting. Furthermore, during this time I also did some voice-over work for the theatre, to introduce a show and for the final call, in character.
